NAVCANstrips and NAVCANsitu at Italian airport towers
Installations of NAVCANstrips, our electronic flight strip solution, and NAVCANsitu, our situational display for enroute, terminal and ground surveillance, are underway at six ENAV sites, starting with Milano Malpensa International Airport. Other airports will include: Milan Linate Airport, Leonardo da Vinci - Rome International Airport, Bergamo Orio al Serio International Airport, Ciampino - GB Pastine International Airport, and Catania-Fontanarossa Airport. NAVCANstrips will provide ENAV controllers with enhanced flight data transactions that are automated and configured to generate flow management statistics, as well as other information.
NAVCANsitu is fully integrated into this system. It adds the capabilities of fused track surveillance, which seamlessly combines data from several surveillance sources.
NAVCANatm has partnered with Techno Sky for this project, who will coordinate the provision of the integrated tower solution, including hardware acquisition, software development and integration, operational and technical training, and ongoing maintenance after system deployment.
